Don´t miss this #1: Fun – All the pretty girls

In Okategoriserade on 21 September, 2010 at 22:28

All you pretty girls…

During 2009 New York trio Fun released its first CD Aim and Ignite. This brilliant record contains everything from crystal clear, pristine pop music to the circus music, that was revived during the 90s by Jellyfish.

The influences from Jellyfish can easily be traced as the arrangements on Aim and Ignite were made by Roger Joseph Manning Jr.

The first single was At Least I’m Not As Sad (As I used to) and any song with a title like that must be given a fair shot, wouldn´t you say?

My chosen track from Aim and Ignite is the excellent single All the pretty girls, a song as good as they ever come!

Pop on!
