A drama queen for all futures?

Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste

One of the greater talents of these last couple of years is british soul sister Adele Laurie Blue Adkins or simply Adele. Or maybe adorable Adele?

She was born in London in 1988 and made her debut in 2007 with the single Hometown Glory, a tribute to her growing up in Tottenham. Before her recording debut she attended Brit School for Performing Arts, a school also attended by fellow song birds Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, Leona Lewis and Kate Nash.

Already in 2007 she was given prestigious talent awards and her first down payment was  made the following year with the remarkable Chasing Pavements, her second single, co-written with Eg White (anyone remembers Eg and Alice?), and her first album 19. Early in 2011 her second album 21 was released, to high praise from both critics and the public.

We´ll no doubt be hearing lots more from Adele in the future, But in between her releases, I´ll definitely go back to her Chasing Pavements and try to figure out how anything can be that good!
